Call of Duty WW2 has stormed the UK chart.
WW2 launch sales were up by an impressive 57 per cent on last year’s unloved space-based installment Infinite Warfare. It’s an impressive stat, although one which goes to show just how much 2016’s COD missed the mark.
The rise in digital downloads (which are not counted by Chart-Track) has affected many games’ recent sequels, which see smaller margins of sales improvements – or even sales decreases – in the chart from year to year. …
